And like any investment, we wanted to produce a piece that would stand the test of time. We never chase trends and always look back to create that classic silhouette youve come to expect from &SONS. The VINCENT glasses are framed with metal detailing to the corner hinges and inset into the beautiful amber-coloured acetate, which contrasts perfectly with a retro smoked green lens. This is a flattering and easy-fit pair of sunglasses that sit light and comfortably, producing an effortless style and silhouette. It’s also thought that judges opted for a smoked coloured lens to avoid showing emotion in particular cases. As time moved on, so did innovation. In the 18th Century, colour lenses were intruded to improve vision in poor light as it was believed a blue or green tint could correct certain impairments.
